Production: In the north-west of Spain, right on the border of Galicia lies the wine growing region of Bierzo with some 4,000 hectares of vineyards. Its barren chalk soil and cool climate, which is very favourable for viticulture, provide excellent growing conditions for the high-quality wines from this region. The excellent quality of this wine made using traditional methods is achieved through constant and loving care of the vines, and its foundation rests on the hand picking of only the very finest grapes.
Tasting notes: Intense, dark cherry red colour with violet hues. A fresh, powerful aroma with nuances of fruit compote. Intense on the nose, well-balanced with notes of ripe fruits. Fine and elegant.
Full-bodied on the palate, structured with a wide-ranging, long aftertaste and an unusually fruity finish.
