Space as Colour, Colour as a Perspective Art Exhibition from Nika Indorf
Nika Indorf is currently working and studying in Holland, Middelburg, after recently having finished her degree in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona. Though Nika was born in Germany, she grew up in Ibiza, Spain where she got inspired by her multicultural background. Nika is inspired by images of space and the study of physical laws. Therewith, she creates colourful worlds where one can feel the energy of the Universe.
Most of her works are round- a format with one can more easily express the infinity of the expanding Universe. Her enthusiasm for empty space is also manifested in using a white background that seems to be the origin of all energy and helps us perceive it.

‘I’m especially interested in the world around us, its effects on us and our way of perceiving reality. I try to understand reality or diverse through my colours. I maintain a strong interest in astrophysics and physics in general. I have a special interest in space that appears to be empty but is visible right through the influence of light which we perceive with our eyes and this gives us the ability to interpret it then as colours.
